Summary: The word "Quality" is probably the most misunderstood word in the dictionary. This course is designed to foster a common language of quality and to ensure that everyone understands quality and its importance to the organisation in the same way.

Who should attend: This course is usually run in-house and is intended to create an awareness of Quality and to provide every single employee with a common understanding of Quality and of its vital importance to the client organisation.

Content: What quality is, why is quality important, how quality systems evolved, the concepts of Quality:
" Quality Management
" Quality Assurance
" Quality Management Principles
" Continual Improvement
Linking quality to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, managing the relationship between customers and suppliers, linking ISO 9000 with TQM. The course can be run in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa.

Outcomes: The delegate will gain an understanding of the link from quality to quality management systems, the history of quality and the development of quality management systems, the importance of customer satisfaction and the concept of internal customers, the intent of the ISO 9001:2000 requirements and their relevance to their functions.
