Course: INTERNAL AUDITING TO ISO 9001:2000 Unit Standard No: to be determined NQF Level: to be determined Credits: to be determined Times: 08:30 for 09:00 to 17:20, two or three day Summary: This course is approved by the South African Auditor Training Certification Association (SAATCA) and meets the training requirements for individuals seeking registration as an Internal Auditor. The course consists of presentations supported with practical exercises and case studies providing experience of all aspects of auditing. Who should attend: Any person who will be required to conduct an internal audit in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9000 quality system standards and those to be audited, to understand the requirements of an internal audit. Prior Learning: Introduction to ISO 9001:2000 Content: Quality management and auditing, quality management principles, the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, the ISO 9000 internal quality audit, the basis for auditing, internal audit programmes, methods of auditing, human aspects of auditing, recording findings evaluating audit results, producing audit reports, conduct in closing meetings. Outcomes: The delegate will gain an understanding of the development of quality management relating to the purpose of the ISO 9000 family of standards, become familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and their interpretation.
